FAQ

Where is your office?

I do appointments in person and via Telehealth.

16703 Early Riser Avenue Suite 259 Land O’ Lakes, FL 34638

What are your hours?
I have times available during the day, evenings, and on the weekend.
How long are the sessions?
My sessions are 50 minutes.
How much do you charge?

The cost is $180/individual session and $225/couples session. I can provide superbills for out-of-network billing.

Do you take insurance? Why or why not?

No, but I can provide you with a superbill for billing your insurance company.

There are several reasons that I don’t take insurance. First, I believe insurance companies are somewhat of a racket and do not honor the therapist or the client. Second, they require the therapist to label the client, which I believe can be unethical and harmful.

Insurance companies tend to focus on keeping their spending and reimbursement to a minimum, and they often see you as just a number in a business interaction. I am not okay with this, because you are a person – not a number.

My obligation is to the client to do the best and highest work with them, and wrestling insurance companies is not a part of that equation.

How do I set up an initial appointment?

To set up an initial appointment, you can either click here or contact me via email or by telephone/text at (813) 540-6468.

What is your cancellation policy?
Please give a 48-hour notice to cancel an appointment. If you provide less than a 48-hour notice, you will be charged the full session fee.
What age ranges do you work with?
I work with adults and teens ages 15 and up.
Do you work with women? Men? Couples?
Yes, yes, and yes. 🙂
What do you actually do during sessions with clients?
We begin by identifying your goals as we work together. We address any acute symptoms and daily challenges you may be facing. We’ll dive into the past to explore childhood experiences, significant life events, family dynamics, attachment patterns, and early conditioning. By gaining a deeper understanding of these past experiences, I help clients make connections between their past and present, gaining insights into the origins of their current struggles.
